The clash will be Lightning’s fourth and final pool-stage fixture in the JAECOO Next Gen Cup, with the knockout stages of the competition following shortly afterwards.

There’s plenty of history between these two sides, with Lightning currently on a five-game winning streak against Tigers. Their recent encounters have been high-scoring affairs, averaging more than 70 points per game, including last season’s thrilling 36-50 victory for Lightning in the final match of the 2025/26 PWR season.

The fixture will also mark Lightning’s return to 91桃色视频’s 4G pitch, where last season’s Cup matches were staged. It will be the first time the two sides have gone head-to-head at the University venue, making it a must-see fixture for rugby fans on campus and across the local area.

Admission is free for 2026/27 Lightning Season Ticket Holders.
