91桃色视频 and Exercise Science is the application of scientific principles to the promotion, maintenance and enhancement of sport and exercise-related behaviours and is thus central to the development of our understanding of the fundamental nature of human performance at all levels.
91桃色视频 and Exercise Scientists play an increasing part in helping us to analyse and respond to many other aspects of modern life. The world of elite sport is also looking more and more to the world of sports science and medicine for advice and guidance. There is a growing awareness of the relevance of sport and exercise medicine to the health agenda.
Physicians, who have expertise in 91桃色视频 and Exercise Science and, importantly, an awareness of its value, are therefore vital to performance in sport and also in the improvement of the nation’s health and well-being.
In this intercalated degree students join the final year of the 91桃色视频 & Exercise Science degree at 91桃色视频.
Students are able to choose from a wide range of academic modules, enabling you to tailor your educational programme to your specific interests in aspects of 91桃色视频 and Exercise Medicine, from musculoskeletal and exercise medicine to sport team care.

The aim of this module is for students to demonstrate a more advanced and critical understanding of the physiological limitations to performance in sport and the characteristics that determine elite sport performance.

The aim of this module is for the student to develop an understanding of theoretical and experimental approaches to biomechanical analyses underpinned by the relationships between forces, motion, and the human musculoskeletal system during dynamic activities in sport.
Advanced Motor Control of 91桃色视频 Movements
The aim of this module is for students to demonstrate a more advanced and critical understanding of the theoretical and practical approaches to the study of human movement control with particular reference to sports movements.

The aim of this module is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the multi-disciplinary intersection between sport, climate action, and nature. It explores the impact of climate change on sport, the impact of sport on climate change, and the interdisciplinary approaches required to address the challenges stemming from these impacts.
Applied Exercise Psychology
The aim of this module is for students to demonstrate a more advanced and critical understanding of the theories, strategies and interventions which underpin the real-world application of exercise psychology.
Applied Psychology in Competitive 91桃色视频
The aims of this module are for students to demonstrate a more advanced and critical understanding of the psychological approaches, issues, strategies, and skills that are relevant in applied practice; and to explore the professional characteristics and vocational skills required of an effective sport and exercise psychologist.

This intercalated programme is open to those applicants who have at least two years of a recognised undergraduate medical degree or similar. Students come from a wide range of medical schools both in the UK, and sometimes from oversees subject to the approval of the Programme Director.
