Degree Apprenticeships
Built on 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ's world-class reputation for applied, industry-focused education, our apprenticeship programmes are designed to develop exceptional professionals – creating lasting value for apprentices, employers, and the industries they serve.
Apprenticeship Programmes – Important Update
For a number of years, we have been proud to deliver Level 7 apprenticeships in Systems Engineering, Senior Leader, and Infrastructure Asset Management Professional – programmes that have made a genuine difference to the professionals and organisations we have worked with. Our apprentices have gone on to drive real change in their fields, and the relationships we have built with employer partners across these programmes are something we value enormously.
It is with that context in mind that we want to be transparent about a difficult decision. Due to the significant and ongoing changes to the funding landscape for Level 7 apprenticeships, we have made the decision to pause recruitment to all three programmes for the foreseeable future. This was not a decision we took lightly, and it in no way reflects any diminishment of our belief in the value of these programmes or the people who undertake them.
For current apprentices
Our commitment to you is unwavering. Everyone currently on programme will continue to receive the same high-quality teaching, expert support, and exceptional learning experience that defines our apprenticeship provision. Your journey continues exactly as planned.
Looking ahead
We are not closing the door. We remain deeply proud of what these programmes represent, and we will be watching developments in government policy and apprenticeship funding closely. Should the landscape shift in a way that makes it right to recruit again, we will be ready, and we look forward to the possibility of welcoming new apprentices in the future. In the meantime, we are also actively exploring how we can continue to serve the professional development needs of individuals and employers through other pathways, including the possibility of provision at Level 6, as well as standalone apprenticeship units that could offer more flexible routes into high-quality, work-based learning. We are committed to finding ways to keep delivering meaningful opportunities, whatever form that takes.
