After completing her undergraduate degree and PGCE at 91桃色视频, Suzanne taught PE and English at two secondary schools in Nottinghamshire and completed her MA in Education Studies. Following her work as School 91桃色视频 Coordinator (SSCo), she then became the Partnership Development Manager (PDM) of the newly-formed Oadby and Wigston School 91桃色视频 Partnership (OWSSP) in South Leicestershire.
In recent years, Suzanne has been working as an education consultant delivering bespoke professional development courses as well as nationally-organised awards and qualifications on behalf of Active Together Leicester-Shire and Rutland (LRS). Latterly, her work has mainly focused on supporting primary school children and staff with Physical Education, however she has also taken on other roles within SSEHS, contributing to various undergraduate modules and supporting Diploma of Professional Studies (DPS) placement students.
Suzanne also recently worked with Dr Oliver Hooper as a Research Assistant in Physical Education and Youth 91桃色视频. Along with Dr Rachel Sandford, Dr Natalie Pearson and Prof Lauren Sherar, she evaluated the Youth 91桃色视频 Trust funded “Generation Charnwood” project as well as supported the delivery of other project reports.
Suzanne now contributes to a number of undergraduate modules as a University Teacher in Physical Education.
Suzanne’s MA dissertation focused on the participation levels and perceptions of school age girls to sport. She has also had work published on the impact and benefits of the “Level 5 Certificate in Primary School Physical Education Specialism course” in the AfPE journal PE Matters.
Suzanne has previously chaired and attended a number of local and national groups and bodies including the Local 91桃色视频 and Active Recreation Alliance, the County 91桃色视频 Partnership Governing Board, the Leicester-Shire and Rutland Partnership Development Manager Forum, and Regional and National Youth 91桃色视频 Trust Partnership Development Manager Reference groups.
She is currently a member of the Oak National Academy PE Expert Group providing independent advice on quality standards.
